1. In as much detail as possible record the steps it took to create this project in Adobe illustrator:
 

•   First I had to create a new canvas, I had the option of choosing either a vertical or horizontal landscape, so I chose the latter. I created the background by adding a rectangle to cover the whole canvas, then picking the red-orange gradient and adjusting the colors by clicking on gradient options and assigning my desired color to each bubble of the gradient's spectrum of color. I created the biggest and most basic shapes with the shape tool, then I used the pen tool to trace off of an image found on google to make the clouds, tree trunk, the roof of the house, and make the island. I created star and flower symbols, then I used the essential classic workspace to add multiple of them with the spray tool.

2. How do animators and color stylists use Ai in their profession?:

•   Adobe Illustrator is a very handy tool. It has various shortcuts and tools that help artists get vector images and animations that can be shrunk and increased in size without losing any quality, due to vector images being created with mathematical equations which can be adjusted to match the dimensions that the artist needs.

3. What type of landscape did you set out to create? Did your final product meet the expectations you set for yourself; why or why not?:

 

•  ​  I wanted to recreate a scene from one of my favorite movies, I think that the art and animation are beautiful and they inspire me a lot. I think that if I had added a little more detail, I could have certainly liked the finished product a lot more, but overall I am pretty happy with how it turned out.

Why do you think so? Make sure to provide specific evidence:

•    I think that although it looks a little plain, I met the standard because I have the sky, moon, and stars as my background, the ocean and clouds as my middle ground, and the island with the house, tree, and flowers as my foreground. I also have a color scheme that I am proud of.
