The first step we did was practice recreating the robot on the left side using the shape tool. Then, we looked for inspiration on google from other artist's creations. I created a new artboard by going to the properties panel, edit boards, and clicking on the plus sign. Then, I used the shape tool to create different polygons and shapes, in order to create my robot. In order to round out the edges I used the direct select tool and used the curve anchors, sometimes, I would only select specific ones in order to only curve those. I then selected certain shapes, and clicked on the Fill option in order to edit the color.

Vector graphics are shapes and designs created using mathematical equations, they would be used when creating something that will be constantly changed in size drastically. Raster graphics are made using pixels, can be used for any type of graphics as long as the shape is big enough and does not constantly change size, since pixels would be visible.

Photoshop and Illustrator are very similar. three of their major similarities are the layout of the design screen, the selection tool, and a few of the shortcuts. Three major differences between them are most of the tools on the left panel, the intended use for each program, and Illustrator's use of vector graphics.

I think that I deserve at least a 3 because I believe I met all of the expectations by using and combining various shapes in order to create my robot, then shading it using the fill tool and selecting a darker color.
