What did you learn about lighting patterns?
Lighting patterns can change the artistic feel of a photo.
How did photographing an egg prepare you for photographing a classmate?
The egg taught me how the light would shape the shadows, which then helped me choose the poses and angles that I wanted for my images.
Why is lighting important for a photographer to understand?
Lighting is important for a photographer to understand because it can completely change the meaning and purpose of the photo, as well as change the softness or hardness of the model's apperance.

What are your overall strengths of your project?
I can't exactly tell specific strengths with my projects because it is my first time photographing portrait images of people. But, overall I really like the feel of my images and believe that they look pretty professional.
What improvements could be made?
I would have lowered the brightness of the spit lighting since it sort of whites out the face of the model, and I would have taken a little more time deciding more interesting poses and angles to photograph my models from.
In what ways, were the two labs similar and what ways did the experiences differ?
In the two labs, we had to think about the placement of the light in order to obtain the desired effect.
How will you incorporate lighting in your photography in the future?
I will incorporate lighting in future projects by trying to include the shape of the shadow as a detail in my photo, similar to german expressionism.
