To create my logo in Adobe Illustrator, I first made a sketch using a drawing app called procreate. Once I transferred my sketch to Adobe Illustrator, I locked the layer in order to freely draw over it. Then, I used the pen tool to trace my sketch and finished off the details using the direct select tool to pick a specific part of my drawing and modify it. If I have had a little more time I would have liked to use the text tool to write my name with a fancy font, created an outline of it, then used the pathfinder tool to subtract it from the initial of each name. 
For my personal use logo, I did pretty much the same thing. The only difference is that I used text for the red and white text that goes on the bottom, then I created their outlines and adjusted them to my liking.

A cut line is a transmitter that tells the cutter to separate the image, that is why it is important, the printer wouldn't know where to cut in order to create whatever you need.

branding can be described as the promotion of an object, person, or idea through marketing and presentation. I can use branding to have an image or logo that can be easily associated with me,  that way it will be easier for employers to keep me in mind.

Based on the learning target for this project, I think that my project meets the standard because it is a simple design of a logo that includes my name's initials, so it is easy to remember. I like the fact that my logo is simple because I want to be able to change the color to match whatever vibe/aesthetic I want to input my logo in, similar to the NIKE logo. Despite this, I wouldn't give myself a four because it is not as creative as other past projects, and I think I could've come up with something better if I had just a little more time.
