Culture Documentary:
Gorditas de Migaja
To make my culture documentary, I made a storyboard to help me plan out my video. Then, I recored all the footage of me making the gorditas and my family trying them. Once I was done with the preparations, I input all the footage that I needed into Adobe Rush. I cut out any unnecessary footage by dragging the clips to be shorter and added transitions from the transitions tab in the upper right hand side to make my video look more professional.
This recipe represents my Mexican Culture, and this specific type of gordita represents my city. This recipe is important to me because ever since I was little, my grandmas, aunts and mother would make delicious gorditas of many different types whenever we had a family reunion or party. I would help them kneed the dough while they were the ones who put it in the comal and add the ingredients. We would always have fun making them together, and we could enjoy a delicious meal afterwards, along with the rest of my family.
I think I deserve a three because I was able to meet all of the standards that were needed for the culture documentary. I provided some background information about gorditas and included the recipe along with why they were impoeranr to me.
